Wine Your Way Thru is Mapleside Farms’ twenty-one-and-over fall tasting event: five wine and beer stations, a hayride through the orchard, and a wine-themed corn maze to find the rest of them in.
I built the identity and everything a guest touches on the walk, from the sign at the entrance to the tasting card in their hand, plus the social campaign that sells it out each autumn.
01 Identity
A wine glass that grew out of a corn field.
The event is a wine walk through a working farm, so the mark refuses to pick a side. The glass is drawn in old engraving line work, the wine inside it reads as a husk, and corn leaves grow out of the stem. Mapleside's name sits above it and the year below, on a banner that can be routed into wood or printed on a card without losing anything.
02 Print
The card is the whole map.
Every guest walks in with one piece of paper. It carries the instructions, the pairing notes for each pour, and a grid of the five stations to check off as they go: one at the start, four more hidden in the maze. It doubles as the souvenir people photograph at the end, so it had to look good half-crumpled on a picnic table at dusk.
03 Social
Stories that end on a ticket.
The farm is the best asset it has, so the launch stories use it: the mark over the corn at dusk, the maze from the air, a group actually walking it, then the bottle with the on-sale date. Four frames, one job. It sells out most of the season and has become a fall tradition people in Northeast Ohio plan around.
